Create a Cool Headboard for Next to Nothing

If you take a stroll through a furniture store or furniture website or catalog, you may be a bit shocked at the prices of beds these days. It’s enough to keep you awake at night! It’s not impossible to get a great look for less, however. The key is to start with a basic bed frame and build on that. A collection of old art frames or artworks can also be hung above a bed in lieu of a headboard. Another idea is to get a blank canvas, frame it up and create your own modern art with the paint colors of your choice.
