The Pixel Project
This is a sample of works currently on display at the University of Maine Art Museum in Bangor.
This photo gallery is an experimental journalism project allowing students from the University of Maine to upload photos from their cell phones. The photos are meant to provide snapshots of student life and events at the Orono campus. By uploading photos, students agree to only post images in the journalistic style. Images have no text or comments, but each image represents a distinct moment of life at UMO. Twenty students will be invited to participate in the initial experiment. Students are asked to contribute at least one photo per day. If you would like to participate in the project in your Maine town, contact Dr. Hughes at sunny.hughes@maine.edu.
